Antony Edwards

CEO Robeco Asia-Pacific

Antony Edwards, CEO Robeco Asia-Pacific, Tony has 22 years of experience as a senior investment and capital markets participant. Between 1990 and 1999, Tony worked in the Asian equity capital markets, based in Hong Kong and London, in various research, sales and ECM roles.

In 1999 he joined AllianceBernstein (“AB”) as Head of Australian and New Zealand marketing, sales and client service, based in Sydney, Australia.

In 2003, Tony moved with AB to London having accepted a senior role as a member of AB’s new European client and consultant facing business development team. In 2005, following his completion of the Finance programme at London Business School, Tony moved back to Asia, by accepting a new investment role with AB. Initially he joined AB’s Global Research Growth Portfolio Oversight Group (“POG”), helping manage an $80Bn global equity fund. He also became a member of AB’s local Asia ex-Japan, China and Indian POGs, managing local & global equity portfolios typically for Asian Sovereign Wealth & large Australian Superannuation funds.

In 2009, following approximately 5 years of investment experience, Tony moved back into a business development and administration role, as Head of Neuberger Berman Asia ex-Japan “NB”.

Arnout van Rijn

CIO Robeco Asia-Pacific

Arnout van Rijn, Executive Vice President, is CIO Robeco Asia-Pacific as well as Fund Manager of Robeco Asia Pacific Equities.

Arnout started his career in the investment industry in 1990 and has over 18 years of experience in the asset management industry. From 2003 to 2007, he was Fund Manager of Rolinco, Robeco's flagship global growth equity fund. From 2000 to 2002, Arnout van Rijn worked in Hong Kong as the Head of the Fund Desk at Rabo Investment Management. From inception in 1994 until 2000, he was Fund Manager of Robeco Emerging Markets Equities. Arnout held several positions in Robeco's Equities Investments Department covering European, Asian and American markets and was Fund Manager of Robeco North American Equities. Arnout van Rijn holds a master’s degree in Business Economics from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam and is registered with the Dutch Securities Institute.

Paul Vrancken

COO Robeco Asia-Pacific

As COO Robeco Asia-Pacific, Paul Vrancken is responsible for the support of business development and set up, coordination and execution of operational activities, as well as corporate development and product management. He is member of the Regional Management Team and director of Robeco Hong Kong Ltd. Paul Vrancken holds a master’s degree in science from the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Prior to his current position Paul worked as the COO of Canara Robeco Asset Management Company in India, and was heading the Corporate Development department in Robeco Group.
